Great BBQ today.

Emoxis LLP’s company BBQ FINALLY materialized! After what seemed like a million “let’s postpone it!”s and a couple of trillion “oops let’s cancel it this time”s, 31 January 2010 was THE DAY. The full Emoxis family was there. Well, almost. The full-timers were all there, the past and current interns were mostly there..  It was a hearty and lively fun-filled BBQ.

We headed down to Sembawang Park on a bright and windy Sunday afternoon.

JJ and Joanne formed the “BBQ working committee” – in other words, they kindly bought, prepared and transported the food. Thanks! JJ is an awesome chef. I’d never seen such a sumptuous BBQ spread before.

CHECK IT OUT… The HUGE slab of “SIO BAK“… OH MAN…………. And the colourful bell peppers… There was also the mouthwatering juicy Portobello Mushrooms that everyone vultured around for… We even had bacon-wrapped asparagus!!! and by Asparagus I don’t mean the fat and long ones bought from wet markets.. I mean the small and slim ones packed in a styrofoam pack bought from the supermarkets…. The food was crazy good!!! We even had Lamb Chops!!!!!!!

JJ was saucing up his thick juicy slab of PORK RIBS… YUMMY….

Where else could we possibly get such good stuff??I’m spoilt now. I can’t envision a normal BBQ with normal chicken wings and crabsticks anymore…….. HAHA!!

Wonder when the next awesome BBQ will be…. I’m stoked…
