Sembcorp Marine Launch Video
Yaho! It’s Myokii again with more live updates, keeping you in the loop with Emoxis LLP’s latest projects.
Today I bring you the Sembcorp Marine Launch Video!
This project was something I would consider quite mega. It had a whole 3D flythrough of the new yard, and a video, as well as effects and stuff. I remember the whole team – 3d, offline and online, sticking together during that period churning out something magnificent, something as large scale as the launch itself.
For the video shoot part, I went down to Jurong Shipyard for the shoot with my trusty cameraman, as well as our client. We shot a few shots of the Medical Centre and its facilities, as well as the Biometric gantries. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side, and as soon as we reached Jurong shipyard at 8 in the morning, it started to pour like never before.
But we managed to stick together and brave the rain. It was pretty funny how we were trying our best to protect our camera equipment and run in the rain and not get drenched all at the same time. Alas, we shot what we had to, and I even managed to get to know the names of 5 “actor workers” that they pulled out to work with us. It was fun getting to know them, and seeing the smiles on their faces when I remembered their names was just sunshine to my life.
Anyway, the shoot aside (cos I love shoots so much that I always find a way to incorporate my experiences into my entries HAHA), this project was a big one, and it definitely paid off.
Oh by the way, the video was shown on Channel News Asia! Is that cool or is that cool!!!! If you didn’t catch it on CNA, fret not! I have photos!
Cool stuff indeed. It was a great sense of satisfaction seeing the work we created being shown on television
Till next time! Coming right up, some little jots about the projects done earlier this year.
